“I have had some amazing success with AmeriGel® Wound Dressing….”

Thank you very much for providing us, The University of South Florida, with AmeriGel Wound Dressing. I have had some amazing success with it. My first experience with AmeriGel, I had a men's basketball player that had an enlarged red bump on his chest. It looked like the skin was infected and could have possibly come to a white head in the next day or two. I cleaned the area, applied AmeriGel Wound Dressing and a band aid. When he came back the next day it was completely gone. No signs of any sort of redness or infection.

In my next experience with AmeriGel Wound Dressing, I had a women's tennis player that had a severely infected blister where her tennis racket rubbed in the palm of her hand. By the time she came to me, it had been a few days and she had not cared for the wound properly. When I saw it, the skin of the blister was gone, the center was green and there was a quarter sized red ring around the open wound. I referred her to the physician but first I cleaned the wound, applied the AmeriGel and a band aid, I told her to come in and continue to get it cleaned, checked and re-dressed. I did not see her for two days, but when I did see her, the infection was completely cleared and the skin looked like it was healing. There was no green, no red ring of infection, just a larger hole, where the debridement properties in AmeriGel did its job. I had her see the physician and he felt that the wound looked ok, no infection.

I am pleasantly surprised with the results of AmeriGel Wound Dressing and will be using more of the product in the future. Thanks again for introducing The University of South Florida to your amazing products.
