For over 25 years, Podiatry Management magazine surveys podiatric physicians on a variety of issues relevant to their practice. The survey is usually completed online at the end of the year and the results are published in the February issue of the following year. The results are reviewed and analyzed for management, marketing and economic trends.
Topics addressed in the survey vary from overhead expenses to the percentage of patients requiring wound care. One particular question asked is which topical podiatrists use to heal their matrixectomies (toenail surgery.) AmeriGel® Wound Dressing has been thenumber one choice for the last six consecutive years, according to the surveys from 2003 to 2008. Amerx is proud that over half of all podiatrists now use AmeriGel®.
