I am an 81-year old bedridden patient that requires total skilled care at home. I have a stage IV pressure ulcer on my ankle and heel. My doctor wanted to amputate my leg below the knee. Because of my age, my family decided against surgery. I read testimonies in the newspaper about AmeriGel Wound Dressing and tried it on my wounds and it healed them in 1999.
