AmeriGel Wound Dressing has been a "blessing" to my patients in many ways. First, it is OTC and relatively inexpensive making longer-term therapy cost-effective for my patients. Second, the diabetic neuropathic ulcerations I have treated have granulated and re-epithelialized more rapidly with AmeriGel than Panafil or Santyl and AmeriGel rivals Regranex's results at 1/20th the cost! Last but certainly not least, Amerigel has shortened the healing period for my phenol matrixectomies as well as obviated the need for post-op soaking. Recently, our housekeeping supervisor approached me regarding skin problems with workers’ hands due to extended exposure to hot water and harsh chemicals.
