"First-aid for your skin"
What is It?
The first and only antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory
and
antipruritic lotion formulated to treat eczema, psoriasis, xerosis,
ichthyosis,
bromhidrosis, heel fissures, minor burns and rashes.
Why should you switch to Amerigel® Care Lotion?
No other lotion today can offer the benefits
of combining Dimethicone, Urea (to build moisture and condition
the skin), micronized Zinc Oxide (to protect the skin), and Oakin™ (antimicrobial/antifungal,
exfoliant and
keratolytic agent), all in one product.
When should you dispense Amerigel® Care Lotion? • Chronic dry tinea - exfoliates flakes, scales and the thin "hair-strand" ropes
of skin associated with
the moccasin presentation.
- Hallux valgus and Hammertoes – relieves interdigital
friction and minimizes skin irritation between
the toes and webspaces, without worry of maceration.
- Corns and calluses – softens even the thickest
dry skin and exfoliates the areas with each application.
- Foot odor – antimicrobial/antifungal to combat
bacteria on the skin.
Where can you use Amerigel® Care Lotion?
Amerigel® Care Lotion can be used anywhere
on the body from head to toe. Formulated to be mild enough to
use on the face, for conditions such as Rosacea, yet effective
enough to use on the feet for callous formations
and fungal infections. This unique formulation has even allowed
the Care Lotion to be applied in between the
toes without worry of maceration and over discolored nails.
Are there any other uses for Amerigel® Care Lotion?
Amerigel® Care Lotion helps retard bullosa
development, without puncturing the skin, by promoting the
re-absorption of the fluid within the blister. It is believed
that the micronized Zinc, as it penetrates the skin,
encourages the reabsorption process. Further, this allows
the roof of the blister to remain flexible and intact
over the damaged area, forming a natural biological dressing.
This "dressing" will
eventually necrose and
simply "peel off" revealing healthy, pink skin
underneath. Because of this, podiatrists are instructing
their diabetic patients with neuropathy or those at risk
for wound development to incorporate the Care Lotion into
their daily regimen. Applying Amerigel® Care Lotion on a daily
basis will promote a healthier skin that is
less prone to breakdown.
